Remote Management

When equipment online and connected to cloud platform, user can remote access to equipment’s device information, retrieve logs and perform action such as restart or shut down to the device.

Device Information

  1. In the [Device Management] - [Remote Management], user can based on the device SN to check on the device information. The equipment connection status is indicated under Device State. online offline

  2. On the online device, click on “More…” and select ”Device Information” to view details information such as CPU, Memory utilization status, device’s location, system version etc.

  1. By clicking on the [Apps List], user can view on the app list that is running. and uninstall apps remotely that is irrelevant to the system. Apps running status is indicated by Run Status. running stop

Capture Logs

  1. User can capture the logs via [Remote Management] when there is requirement needed for ERP software reports or system logs.

  2. On the online device, click on “More…” and select ”Capture Logs” to retrieve logs remotely. Select the log files and click “Confirm” to download.

Restart

On the online device, click on “More…” and select ”Restart” to restart device remotely.

Shutdown

On the online device, click on “More…” and select ”Shutdown” to shut down device remotely.

Parameter Settings

Enable Third-party App Installation

In the [Device Management] - [Parameters Settings] page, user can turn on “Third-party App Installation” to allow all the devices perform third party app installation.

Disable Third-party App Installation

When turning off the “Third-party App Installation”, all the devices only can install apps available inside Imin app store.

SN Whitelist

  1. By turning off “Third-party App Installation”, user can configure certain equipment to allow third party apps installation via SN Whitelist. Devices that are included in SN Whitelist are allow to perform installation while the ones excluded are restricted to do so.

  2. User can add the devices via “+Add Whitelist”.

  1. Select or search the device based on SN, check the box and click “+Add in Batches” to add them into SN Whitelist.

  1. To remove the device from SN Whitelist, select by checking the device’s box under the list and click “Batch Deletion” to remove.

Apps Whitelist

  1. By turning off “Third-party App Installation”, user can authorize certain apps for third party apps installation via Apps Whitelist. Apps that are included in Apps Whitelist are allow to perform installation while the ones excluded are restricted to do so.

  2. User can add the devices via “+ Add Whitelist”.

  1. Add the apps into the Apps Whitelist by clicking “+” on each app. Close the Add Whitelist window when it is done.

  1. To remove the app from Apps Whitelist, move cursor over the app and click on the trash sign to remove.

Usage Record

In the [Device Management] - [Usage Record], user can view on the device management operation activity logs based on operation type or particular period.
