iMin Technology PTE. LTD. ("iMin", "we", "us" or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of users of the iMin Scanner Settings App (the "App"). The App is designed to configure and manage barcode scanner parameters on compatible iMin commercial POS devices. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data in connection with the App. Importantly, the App does not collect, store, or process any personal data from users. This policy applies solely to the App and does not cover data handled by the device hardware, other apps, or third-party services.
The App functions locally on your device to manage barcode scanner configuration parameters (e.g., barcode type settings, output modes, trigger modes, sound preferences).
● No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect any personal information, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, location data, or device identifiers (e.g., IMEI, MAC address).
● No Usage Data: The App does not track user interactions, analytics, or performance metrics.
● Local Configuration Storage: Any scanner configuration data you set is stored and processed entirely on the device itself and is not transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
If the App accesses device features (e.g., USB host for scanner communication, vibration for feedback), it only uses necessary system permissions for functionality, without collecting or sharing data.
Since the App does not collect any data, there is no usage, processing, or sharing of user data. The App operates locally to fulfill its purpose of configuring barcode scanner parameters.
As no personal data is collected, this App complies with relevant privacy laws by default, including but not limited to:

● California CCPA/CPRA: The App does not handle "personal information" as defined under these laws.
● Other Jurisdictions: We ensure compliance with local laws where the App is distributed.
● No data is stored on our servers.
● Any local scanner configuration files are retained on the device until deleted by the user or upon app uninstallation.
While no data is collected, we prioritize device-level security:
● The App uses standard Android security practices to handle local configuration files securely.
● We recommend users keep their devices updated with the latest security patches.
The App does not share data with any third parties, as no data is collected. It may use Android system libraries, but these do not involve data transmission.
Since no personal data is collected:
● There are no data access, correction, or deletion requests applicable to us.
● You can uninstall the App at any time to remove all local configuration data.
The App is intended for commercial use (e.g., by businesses operating POS terminals) and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
